Grammar Goes Green at Rangakarra
Sprenger Street, Fig Tree Pocket

Brisbane Girls Grammar School's (BGGS) Grammar Goes Green at Rangakarra project involved clearing weed species and replanting native trees, shrubs and grasses near the banks of Cubberla Creek, which forms the eastern boundary of BGGS's Sporting Campus called Rangakarra.

These strategic plantings will help mitigate the effects of flooding events in the area and provide an attractive habitat for native flora and fauna. The students will continue to monitor the restored creek for new or invading weed species and aim to continue the project well into the future.
