The Friends of Yarraman Creek restored the weed infested Yarraman Creek to a healthy state with native vegetation and abundant wildlife, creating a beautiful habitat for Yarraman’s rich flora and fauna.
In 2015, the group volunteered 2,565 hours to revegetating Yarraman Creek and improving its water quality. Eleven field days were held to showcase the newly restored creek to over 200 visitors and to raise awareness on the importance of the protecting the creek.
