Ongoing investment in maintaining and improving our waterways will benefit the environment, economy and essentially our quality of life. In order to provide a holistic understanding of our waterways and inform future investment, Healthy Waterways identified the need to expand our Monitoring Program to include social and economic indicators. In addition, Healthy Waterways and our members determined six waterway management priorities where investment and action should be focused to address the growing pressures on our waterways.
